The Fillmore Live from Detroit book was an internal agency project created to showcase the vast collection of gig posters for performers that graced the stages of The Fillmore Detroit and St. Andrews Hall.
I created the 3D modeled guitar pick used as a binding clasp for the poster collection.
The project was shortlisted at 2018 Cannes in design and recently won a silver and 2 bronze for design and illustration at the 2018 LIA Awards.
The initial design for the pick was created using Cinema 4D and was printed on a Form Labs 2 3D printer and gilded. The pick was designed to hold together the removable pages of the poster book using the tension of a rubberband connected to the pick.
